MEL was a natural name as it’s the first initial of the founders: Mike, Erasmo & Lucas.

Mike Keenan has work experience is in running a construction company.  This experience now provides the needed project management and oversight to the art of trailer restoration.

Erasmo Romo is not only the shop manager but the detail genius behind our projects.  If you have ever had the chance to talk with Erasmo, you will enjoy hearing about the “right way to do things” including rivit types, water sealing, or sheet metal replacement.  With his 25 years experience, he knows not only how it was done originally, but also how to make quality improvements while keeping the original look.

Lucas Romo is not only the brother of Erasmo, but is a trailer craftsman who specializes in using his ingenuity to repair trailers to better than new.  Lucas is also the parts specialist and has been able to track down or rebuild the most difficult to find parts.
